To install this updated driver (1.0.0.1, I see mostly 1.0.0.RC7 around, but this is the latest) for the VHX Extreme 98.. Goto your Control Panel and then click on System. Find the PCI Multimedia Controller with the exclamation beside it. Double click on it and then click on the Driver table. Choose update driver and follow the wizard and choose "Display a list of the known drivers for this device.." and then specify the path to the drivers that you downloaded. Reboot your computer after and then install VHX_NT.exe to install the TV Tuner application and Radio/Capture applications. Unzip the file to your desktop. Remove the sound drivers with the yellow ?. Restart your computer and when the found new hardware wizard asks you for the new driver, guide it to the desktop folder which contains the driver. Thas it! Goood luck! It worked for me.LUIS

well i hope it works I have win98 ll and win XP pro working on the same HD and only win XP the sound works great. So i hope this wil solve my stupid missing drivers... What happened to plug @ play.... Thank you USB... I'm an old dos man...windows sucks... and the price of gas too! = -)rabbit
